LWL450
The LWL450 Screen Scroll Centrifuge is a filtering centrifuge with horizontal scroll discharge. With stable running, good washing effect, high handling capacity, and high economic efficiency, the machine can carry out continuous feeding, washing, dehydrating and discharging of suspensions when running at full speed. It is a piece of efficient separation equipment for solid-liquid separation. The machine is suitable for solid-liquid separation of suspensions containing 10%-80% solid particles (linear or crystalline) with granularity of 0.13-5mm (better effect for 0.2-2mm) such as citric acid, gulonic acid, salt, fruit juice, ammonium sulfate, urea, etc. in chemical industry, pharmacy, food, metallurgy, mining, etc. Designs of the machine comply with the GMP standard.
■Continuous operation with the highest handling capacity
■Wide application with various types of bowls and spiral rollers
■Reasonable power configuration with low energy consumption
■Parts that contact materials are made of austenitic stainless steel.
■Imported bearings, seals, and independent circulating oil lubrication system are adopted.
■The closed housing can protects the operator and site environment.
■Because of its small volume and convenient installation, there is no need to make any complex foundation.
■Safe and reliable running. The V type unloading and overload protective devices are adopted.

Q1: What materials are suitable for batch type basket centrifuge? What materials are unsuitable?
A: Suitable for solid-liquid separation of granular and crystalline solid materials, such as salt crystals, traditional Chinese medicine extracts, chemical intermediates, resins, and food additives.
Not suitable for: materials with extremely fine particles that are easily penetrated by filters, materials with extremely high viscosity, materials that are prone to flocculation and sticking to the wall and are difficult to discharge; flammable and explosive high-risk materials require explosion-proof configuration.
Q2: What are the key parameters to consider when selecting a suitable model?
A: The main factors to consider are the drum diameter, drum volume, loading limit, rotation speed, separation factor, motor power, and filter media type. Also, confirm the material properties: corrosiveness, whether it is explosion-proof, temperature, and solid content.
Q3: What is the separation factor, and how should it be referenced when selecting a suitable model?
A: The separation factor represents the centrifugal separation capability; the higher the value, the stronger the separation capability. For crystalline materials, it is generally 800-1200; for fine particulate materials, it should be appropriately increased; for fragile materials, the value should not be too high to prevent particle breakage.
Q4: Why do different manufacturers have different loading capacities for the same drum diameter?
A: It is determined by the effective depth of the drum and the loading limit. You can't just look at the volume. You must abide by the rated loading limit of the equipment. Overloading will cause violent vibration and cause safety hazards.
Q5: How should a batch type basket centrifuge be configured for explosion-proof applications?
A: It is equipped with an explosion-proof motor, explosion-proof electrical control, anti-static configuration, nitrogen protection interface, sealed cover, explosion-proof valve, etc.; explosion-proof of the whole machine does not mean that the motor is explosion-proof. Explosion-proof certification of the whole machine is required. You cannot just replace the motor.
Q6: How to select equipment materials for corrosive materials?
A: SS304 for normal working conditions; SS316L for moderate corrosion; Hastelloy or PTFE lining for strong corrosion; avoid using ordinary SS304 for materials containing chloride ions.
Q7: How is material typically discharged from a batch type basket centrifuge?
A: Basic model: manual upper shoveling; hanging bag model: direct lifting of filter bags for discharging; high-end model: fully automatic scraper for bottom discharging.
Q8: What should be noted when feeding materials?
A: Medium speed feeding is required; high speed and large-volume feeding are strictly prohibited. The material should be distributed as evenly as possible inside the drum to prevent severe vibration caused by uneven loading. For materials with large fluctuations in solid content, try to ensure that the feed concentration is stable.
