Key causes and solutions:
1. Rotational speed below setpoint (VFD fault or speed sensor failure): Inspect the electrical control system and calibrate speed parameters;
2. Filter screen/cloth clogged, damaged, or incorrectly selected: Clean or replace the filter medium and re-select based on material particle size;
3. Excessive or uneven feed rate: Reduce feed speed and maintain a steady flow;
4. Fluctuations in material properties (e.g., increased viscosity, finer particles): Increase rotational speed and/or extend separation time;
5. Imbalance due to material buildup on the inner drum wall: Shut down the machine and clear out residual material.
Common causes:
1. Uneven material distribution or accumulation of solid residue inside the drum;
2. Bearing wear, aging, or lubrication failure;
3. Loose anchor bolts or improper leveling during installation;
4. Deformation of the drum or main shaft, or imbalance due to component wear;
5. Off-center loading or excessive fluctuations in material concentration.
Solutions: Immediately shut down the machine, clear residual material from the drum, tighten anchor bolts and re-level the equipment, replace worn bearings and replenish lubricant, inspect drive components, and optimize feed uniformity.
